NodeConfAR is a Node.js event in Argentina, a forum for the Node.js community.
NodeConf is a global conference format, any city can bring it to their community under the same name. Working alongside a co-designer, the challenge was to create a visual identity that felt unmistakably Buenos Aires while staying connected to the global NodeConf family.
The color palette anchors on blue and green, colors that reflect the tech ecosystem, applied across t-shirts, badges and totebags designed to feel cohesive at the event and memorable long after.
The site needed to evolve as the conference took shape. Each time a new speaker was confirmed, we announced them on social media, so I built the site with a system that made adding speakers fast and effortless, no design work needed per update.
As the event approached, the schedule section became the centerpiece. Organized by day across the three conference days, it automatically detected the current date and highlighted the active day, so attendees always landed on what was happening now.
